Can We Let Britney Spears be Sane?

I’m just not getting the vibe that Britney Spears was ever truly “crazy”.

First of all, she was alleged from many sources to be on a lot of different drugs and under the influence of alcohol throughout her twenties, so some of her behavior was under the influence. Second, she was kind of alone in the world with paparazzi chasing her on one side and friends and family exploiting her on the other, so the pressure cooking there would have made many people go over the edge.
